Sandia on Staggered Work Schedule Until Further Notice

Until further notice, Sandia employees and contractors at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque will report to work in staggered shifts between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m. Everyone entering the Kirtland Air Force Base gates will be required to show two picture identifications. One of the IDs must be a Sandia or Department of Energy badge. Employees are asked to have the IDs ready as they approach the gate to keep traffic moving.

  • Employees with last names beginning A-D, arrive 5-6 a.m. (Eubank Gate does not open until 6 a.m.)
  • Employees with last names beginning E-J, arrive 6-7 a.m.
  • Employees with last names beginning K-M, arrive 7-8 a.m.
  • Employees with last names beginning N-R, arrive 8-9 a.m.
  • Employees with last names beginning S-Z, arrive 9-10 a.m.

Gate hours for weekdays until further notice are: Gibson (open 24 hours), Truman (24 hours), Maxwell (24 hours), Wyoming (5 a.m. to 8 p.m.) and Eubank (6 a.m. to 6 p.m.). The South Valley Gate will remain closed until further notice.
