Sandia Dream Catcher Program applications now available

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Sandia National Laboratories is accepting applications for the 2010 Dream Catcher Science Program.

The Dream Catcher Science Program is a hands-on science and engineering program designed for middle-school and high-school student in grades 6 through 12 who are interested in science, math, and engineering. There is no cost to attend the program and parents are invited to attend workshops with their student(s).

Classes are scheduled for June 5, 12, 19, and 26 and are held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and are held at National American University, 4775 Indian School Road, NE.

Course offering include Hands-on Math Workshop, Exploring Science, System Dynamics, and Lego Robotics. A student conference will be held on the last Saturday of the program.
