ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —Sandia National Laboratories is accepting applications for the 2007 Dream Catcher Science Program.
This hands-on science and engineering program was created to inspire more American Indian middle- and high school students to develop and nurture an interest in math, science, and engineering and to pursue degrees in those technical fields. Students entering grades six through 12 are eligible to attend.
This year’s course offerings include: Renewable Energy Technologies, Genomics and Computers, and a Business and Economics course for middle school students and one for high school students.
Students register for one course. Each course is held on June 9, 16, 23 and 30, 2007 at the National American University, 4775 Indian School Road NE, Albuquerque, NM, from 9 a.m. to noon.
