ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Sandia National Laboratories is holding a small business forum on May 2 to connect with local small businesses and share upcoming opportunities to work with Sandia.

The forum will include nearly 40 booths, including resources from Sandia, other Department of Energy labs, partners such as the Small Business Administration and various chambers of commerce.

In 2023, Sandia spent $1.08 billion on subcontracts with small businesses, with more than $481 million going to New Mexico small businesses.

“We hope this forum can be a one-stop shop of resources and opportunities for small businesses to help them do business with us,” said Sandia procurement manager Zach Mikelson.

There will be breakout sessions, some of which are specifically designed to help disadvantaged businesses.
